Hi, Me & Why?

Hi! So, this is my first ever blog... EVER! Before I start doing this regularly I just want to say that I'm not a writer at all, im not good at it at all haha.. never have been really!:P But why should it be only good writers that write anyway?! So im just going to go for it and write how I would talk (probs bad grammar, slang etc) soz in advance!:)

Right, I should tell you some stuff about me. My name is Christina, but most people call me Tina. Why is my blog url called minaninatina.. I dont know, it rhymed? haha! i am 19 and a dancer. I have been dancing since i was 6 years old and I'm currently in my 2nd year training at London Studio Centre. I love my family and friends like CRAAAZZZZYY. I pretty much am obsessed (not weirdly obsessed though lol) with anything to do with: disney, beauty, hair, health, fitness, food, fashion, harry potter, planners & stationary, harry potter, summer, christmas, easter etc... you get my drift. OHHH, and beyonce! duh♥

So why have I randomly wanted to start writing a blog? Well I am currently writing this while sitting out of my ballet class (the teacher thinks I'm taking notes on the class, oops) I have recently been diagnosed with a condition called 'super hyper-mobility syndrome' by the NHS doctors. I have had problems with my joints and muscles for the best part of 3 years now. It SUCKS. Me and my mum weren't completely happy with my diagnosis, so yesterday we went to have a private consultation (on my health insurance plan) I had 4 blood tests.. not really too sure what all of them were for. But from talking to a lot of people about my pain over these 3 years, nearly everyone think that it could be rheumatoid arthritis. But I will find out soon!

I want to write about my process of recovering and getting stronger so I can start dancing everyday again! I would love people to be interested in my blog and the things I do and like, and even find people that have had these symptoms before or know what I should do? Non-dancer or dancer. I also feel that there isn't much support out there for injured dancers. (doctor wise) My aim is to change that!:) WOW, done. I promise not all my blogs will be this depressing, I will do random ones about other things I am interested in! I think this blog will keep me positive and keep my mind off things when I'm down about sitting out of dance again:( Sorry for the long winded first post lol:)

Love ChrisTINA xx

  1. Wow, I'm the first to comment on your first blog post!!! (Hope I'm doing this the right way? Please forgive if I'm not!)

Who said you cannot write? I found your post funny, informative and relevant. I want to read more! I did not find anything too depressing about your thoughts; you are just trying to be positive, looking for a way forward as you tackle the condition. You will be helping other 'sufferers' a the same time.

So, keep up the good work; keep writing and keep being positive.

Proud of you. Love Dad xxx
