MY 20TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION NO.2

MY PRINCESS PARTY!!!

This was on the following Sunday, so the 12th July. This was mainly for all my family, but a few of my closest friends came too! As I am OVER OBSESSED WITH DISNEY AND PRINCESSES, my mum decided to transform our whole house into a Disney castle… quite literally! But like I said before, we did NOT spend a fortune; we made things out of materials and bought most decorations from the £1 shop!!! We decided not to make it fancy dress as it would have been too much of a rush to have to find costumes as well as doing everything else haha.

I organised the schedule of the day; we played, ‘Pin The Tiara On The Princess’ and I made a Disney quiz with cheap prizes, which were all from either the £1 shop or TIGER. We had Disney songs playing all day, food, princess cupcakes, and of course PIMMS yaaaay!

It was the most perfect day, I am so lucky to have such a big loving family. & the presents I received were out of this world (Majority were Disney items hehe) but I will do a post about some of my presents in my post about the actual day of my 20th birthday.

If anyone has questions about where I got the decorations from or how we made things, let me know!

My 20th Celebration NO.1

I say it every year but this was my best birthday yet! I had four celebrations hehe; and no... me and my parents aren't rich, we just go all out for everyone’s birthdays. And we pick up bargains from everywhere! Me and my mum are the top people at finding good deals, we never pay full price for anything! So in the next four posts I am going to tell you what I did each day very briefly to give you ideas on planning your birthdays, otherwise if I did it in detail, I would probably be writing for a year haha and that would be one long post. Instead it will be four small posts :)
Sunday 5th July – CELEBRATION NO. 1
I decided to have a little gathering with my friends from Uni at my house in London. It was a lovely sunny day and we set up the garden with blankets and we ate food and drunk rose nomnomnommm. I got the most cutest presents from my housemates and my friends (picture below) You will now be able to tell what I am obsessed with haha (Disney, hello kitty, stickers, craft bits, make-up) I also got the old school game, JENGA! The BEST game to ever play for a drinking game. OMGGGG our forfeits were abit riskaaay, but you can choose how tame you want them to be. My dare was to go next door and ask my neighbour for a ‘Long Stand’ HAHAHA WTF IS THAT? Exactly. When my neighbour asked me what it was I made up that it was a long thing to get my teddy off that wall?... I was a bit drunk. Later, we played the game ‘Mr&Mrs’, there weren't any actual couples, but everyone had their person that they were really close to in the room. At the of end the day we watched Beauty and The Beast. PERFECT DAY AND NIGHT. Oh wait, we also went out to the field behind the house to play manhunt, tag and bull dog. We are all such kids hahaha.

Post on celebration 2 will be coming later on today! :)

My Rheumatoid Arthritis Condition

Now I have stopped taking my medication I feel so much healthier as I felt like it was making me gain weight; every time I took the tablet my stomach would just completely bloat out. I started waking up at 6am every morning as my stomach just felt yuck. And what really pissed me off is when people say, ‘you sure you don’t just need to go to the toilet?’ no I fricking do not need to go to the toilet… I am old enough to know if I need a poo or not.. GAAAAAAD. It was a constant feeling of finishing a whole 20 slice pizza to yourself… you feel full and bloated. & lastly, it made me feel very drowsy most of the time, which isn’t great when I am supposed to be going to the gym to control my other condition (Hyper-mobility syndrome) HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO TO THE GYM IF IM TIRED? HELLO? ANYONE? I was just fighting myself and was in a no-win situation lol. So I rang my doctor and explained and he told me I could come of them for now and just take Ibuprofen till my next appointment with him.

I got my MRI scan results for my wrist and the issue is that the inflammation in my wrist is attacking my bone which will eventually lead to bone damage. To get the inflammation under control he advised me to have a Cortisone injection. Brilliant, I am fine with needles… Just one small prick in my wrist and boom I’m done. NO THIS WASN’T THE CASE. I walked into the room which the nurse was in and brought my dad in (who wouldn’t want there parent there) ‘So I am going to just put this injection into your bum, if you like to lie on your side please..’ SORRY.. WAIT WHAT? I laughed at first. She wasn’t joking…… Bye dad, out of the room you go hahahaha. I got nervous about the injection when I knew it was going into my bum, but it was totally fine! The nurse said the wrist would have been more painful anyway!

Even though this injection has done the world of good to my body, my doctor advised me not to get another one as it can lead to severe side effects. So this is only going to last for about 4 weeks, which is good as I have another appointment booked with him in a months time; I will be put on a different type of medication then.

I keep getting lazy and not doing my physio exercises for my wrist, but today I have had a splurge of motivation and I hope anyone that is going through anything similar to me. Please please please do the exercises you are told to do! It will work eventually! I am going to do them every day for now on, as I am determined to get back into doing gymnastics, breaking and floor work on my wrist. LETS DO THIS!

Im Back: My 20th, Cornwall & My Arthritis

Wow.. it is the 21st of July and the last time I wrote a blog was on the 3rd July. THAT IS SO BAD and I can explain. Like I mentioned in my last post, I have been back and forth to London as I was assisting a choreographer for a piece for my Uni’s end of year show. Then, I was very lucky as I have a lovely woman who I call my ‘second mummy’ that got me a job at a lovely golf club about half an hour away from my parents house. So you can imagine… I was travelling up to London for a rehearsal and then rushing back to Woking to get to work. Then the last thing to add to my busy schedule is that my birthday was coming around very soon (15th July) and it is known in my family that we always go all out for every birthday hehe!

So first, lets talk about my job. I LOVE MY JOB. I don’t know if I have a permanent position there, as it might just be summer work as it is pretty busy. I hope I get to stay on after the summer. The people I work with, omg?!!? ARE AMAZING AND HILARIOUS plus I get to work with my Mummy Mandy(my mums best friend) and my job is to clean up, serve behind the bar, serve up food, talk to customers, stock up.. pretty much everything. And because I love keeping things clean and organised this is a perfect job for me at the moment while I am still a student.
Secondly, my bdaaaayyyy! I turned 20 last Wednesday. My age doesn’t faze me at all.. it is just a number. I honestly don’t know how people get so worked up on their age. I got Barbie Dolls and Disney colouring books for my birthday and I am 20? Does that mean it is wrong? NOPE; not in my eyes heheJ I am going to do a whole separate post on my birthday as there is A LOT a lot a lot to update about that. I had 4 birthday celebrations in total… ooops YOLO.. ‘Live Everyday Like It Is Your Birthday’.. That is one of my quotes I live by.

Let’s talk about, right now! I am currently sitting in the cutest little chalet (is that how you spell it? It is a little house right?) Anyway, I am sitting on a sofa and have the view of the ocean right in front of my eyes. I am taking a 2 week holiday in Cornwall with my family. I have been coming here every summer since I remember (EXCEPT last year as I was involved in a show in London) My current condition (rheumatoid arthritis) is ‘kind-of’ under control. I will also do another post on only this, but I came off the Naproxen medication, as I was getting all sorts of side affects. Before I came here to Cornwall, I had an Cortisone injection which I guess controls my inflammation in my body. But blah blah I will do a big post on that soon. Maybe tomorrow?

Right I better get in the shower before my parents come up off the beach, as I have sand on my feet and mum will not be happy I have come in the house with sandy feet hehehe mwaahaha.
